How to convert HEIC to JPG on iPhone

iPhones save photos as HEIC, which many websites, Windows PCs and upload forms won't accept. SendReady converts them to JPG on your phone — one photo or fifty at a time.

Steps

  1. Open SendReady and tap Convert & Shrink Photos.
  2. Choose photos from Photos or Files.
  3. Pick JPEG (or PNG, WebP, or one combined PDF).
  4. Leave Strip location & EXIF on if you're sharing publicly.
  5. Tap Convert, then Share or save the results.

Stop your iPhone saving new photos as HEIC

Go to Settings › Camera › Formats and choose Most Compatible. New photos are then saved as JPG — but they take more space, and photos you already have stay HEIC. SendReady converts those.

HEIC to PNG or PDF

PNG keeps every detail for screenshots and graphics. PDF merges all the selected photos into a single document — handy for receipts or forms.

FAQ

Questions

Why does my iPhone save photos as HEIC?

HEIC has been Apple's default photo format since iOS 11 because it takes less space than JPG at similar quality. Not every website or app accepts it.

Can I convert HEIC to JPG on iPhone without an app?

You can switch future photos to JPG in Settings › Camera › Formats › Most Compatible. Converting photos you already have needs an app such as SendReady.

Is converting HEIC to JPG safe?

With SendReady the conversion happens entirely on your device, so your photos are never uploaded to a converter website.
